Nevertheless, ye are blessed, for the testimony which ye have borne is recorded in heaven for the angels to look upon; and they rejoice over you, and your sins are forgiven you. (D&C 62:3.)

When I was a district missionary in my home branch, I used to go with the full-time missionaries, as a fellowshipper. Fellowshipping is really helpful in the conversion process of the investigator. I was preparing myself to go on a mission at that time and felt it would be good training.

Evey time the elders shared their message, they bore their testimonies. They would ask me to share mine but I was shy and would decline their invitation.

One day on the way to an appointment they asked me once again to bear my testimony to this investigator. I told them I was too shy. One of the elders took out his Doctrine and Covenants, opened it to Section 62, and read verse 3.

I was really touched by that scripture. I felt the Spirit and the desire to share my testimony. I thought, "Why should I be ashamed to bear witness of this Church?"

From that point on, I have shared my testimony at every opportunity. I am now serving a mission and I have a calm feeling every time I bear my testimony to an investigator.

I'm so grateful for those missionaries who opened my heart to this scripture.

I know this Church is true and hope that all members will feel the desire to share their testimonies.
