Two Utah County men will be sentenced Nov. 4 on separate counts of sexual abuse of a child, second-degree felonies, following their no contest and guilty pleas Friday before 4th District Judge George E. Ballif.
Glen Thomas Mitchell, 21, Orem, pleaded no contest to one count of sexually abusing a child May 15, and Clifford Lynn Clegg, 34, Highland, pleaded guilty to two counts of the same charge stemming from incidents in June 1985, May 1987 and April of 1988.Ballif referred the cases to Adult Probation and Parole for pre-sentence reports. Both men face possible prison terms of up to 15 years.
