SHARE FHP OPENS MEDICAL, DENTAL FACILITY IN W.V.

FHP, Utah's largest health maintenance organization, has opened a new $2.8 million, 24,000 square foot full-service medical and dental facility in West Valley City.

According to company officials, the new center, located on 3.6 acres at 47th S. 3730 West, "represents a new generation in medical centers with most everything under one roof for the convenience of our patients."The center features 30 medical exam rooms and 10 dental operating rooms. Services include family practice, dental and optometric care, an optical shop, X-ray, counseling, pharmacy, medical records, lab, and child care for members visiting the facility. Parking for 200 cars is available.

With the opening of the West Valley Center, FHP now has nine medical centers along the Wasatch Front. FHP currently provides care to 20,000 residents in the West Valley area. Statewide its membership is nearly 94,000.
