A group of U.S. physicians that toured Kurdish refugee camps has concluded that Iraq used chemical weapons against the ethnic Kurdish minority in northern Iraq, a spokesman said.

Dr. Robert Mullan Cook-Deegan, representing the Boston-based Physicians for Human Rights, also accused Turkey of covering up for Iraq due to security and economic interests.Cook-Deegan said the group's findings were based on interviews with more than 100 Kurds who fled into Turkey and also on medical questionnaires given to 25 refugees.
