The United States is warming up to a proposal to deploy United Nations troops in Central America to supervise regional borders, U.S. special envoy Morris Busby said. "The United States will receive favorably any proposal put forward by the Honduran government," Busby said in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, Monday, referring to a plan presented Oct. 4 by Honduras at the United Nations. The U.S. special envoy to Central America denied reports that the United States opposed the plan.
