A U.S. military team searching for information on Americans listed as missing in the Indochina war has completed two days of surveys of sites where U.S. warplanes crashed in Laos, a military spokesman said Saturday.

The eight-man team returned to Bangkok from Laos Saturday after two days of joint searches with Laotian experts in the Sepone area of eastern Laos, said Maj. Thomas Boyd, spokesman for the U.S. Pacific Command.Sepone, about 20 miles from the Vietnamese border, is near the "Ho Chi Minh Trail," the famed supply route from North to South Vietnam that was heavily bombed by U.S. warplanes during the Indochina War.
