The American Foundation for the Blind has published its most comprehensive referral resource ever - the 23rd edition of the Directory of Services for Blind and Visually Impaired Persons in the United States."The directory is organized to enable blind and visually impaired people, their families and friends, as well as professionals in the blindness field to locate the services they need quickly and efficiently," said William F. Gallagher, executive director of the NFB.
The directory is also a reference tool for ophthalmologists, optometrists, nurses and other medical practitioners, senior center and nursing home staff, education and rehabilitation specialists and employees of community and governmental agencies.
