Kenneth E. Eble, a University of Utah professor of English, will be honored by students, friends and colleagues in a memorial service Tuesday in the university's Fine Arts Auditorium.

Eble died Oct. 19 from complications following heart surgery. He joined the university faculty 1955. He taught courses in American Literature, English and the Humanities.Before moving to Utah, Eble also taught at Upper Iowa, Columbia and Drake universities. The professor and author is known internationally for his work in the improvement of college teaching methods.
