The Polish government Tuesday demanded an immediate meeting with Lech Walesa to prepare the way for the convening Friday of talks with the opposition on Poland's future. Walesa rejected the demand, leaving prospects for the start to the round-table talks in doubt. Government spokesman Jerzy Urban said Walesa and Interior Minister Gen. Czeslaw Kiszczak must meet Wednesday to clear away disputes on who can participate in the talks.
