The University of Utah has received a National Endowment for the Humanities grant to assist in the development of the Coptic Encyclopedia.

The U. of U. will receive $212,150 toward the project which covers all aspects of Egyptian Coptic culture, civilization and human geography from Roman to contemporary times.The NEH recently announced 27 grants totaling $1.35 million to institutions in 15 states and the District of Columbia.
