Three people are dead following weekend automobile accidents in Utah although one of those apparently died of a heart attack.

Dead:Darren Cutler, 18, Clearfield.

James L. Hooker, 23, Brookville, Fla.

Herschal R. Bush, 65, Salt Lake County.

Cutler was killed when his car rolled as he drove along the I-15 on-ramp in Cedar City. Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Russell Lee said Cutler apparently lost control of the car. Cutler and a passenger, Michelle Stevens, Clearfield, were thrown from the vehicle. Stevens was taken to the Dixie Medical Center in St. George for treatment of a fractured pelvis and numerous cuts and bruises. She is in satisfactory condition. The accident occurred about 1:15 p.m. Saturday.

Hooker was alone in his vehicle and apparently lost control causing the vehicle to roll as he attempted to pass another vehicle on Pigeon Hole Road, about one mile south of Spring City, Sanpete County, said UHP Trooper Joe Bennett. The accident occurred about 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

Bush apparently suffered a heart attack as he drove west on Edgehill Drive near 23rd South in Salt Lake County. His car went off the road and struck a house at 2335 S. Edgehill. The occupant of the house heard the impact of the car as it hit the building and ran to investigate, according to a Salt Lake County sheriff's report.

Bush was pronounced dead on arrival at St. Marks Hospital. The home was slightly damaged in the 4 p.m. Saturday accident.
