Josephine Davis has been named as the recipient of the Heritage Award, given each year to an individual who has provided outstanding service to the community through her participation in and support of the cultural arts.

Davis was honored by members of the Utah California Women at their annual Heritage Luncheon, held in Little America's Ballroom. KSL's Carol Mikita was mistress of ceremonies, and the program included performances by individuals representing the Utah Opera Company and Ballet West.A fashion show spotlighting fall furs was presented during the afternoon by Arent's Doorway to Fashion.

A percentage of ticket sales will go to benefit Deseret Village of Spanish Fork, a facility that provides a home and special growth programs for mentally retarded adults.
