SHARE PROVO WOMAN IS CHARGED IN HIT-RUN INCIDENT

A Provo woman has been charged with attempted criminal homicide, a second-degree felony, in connection with a hit-and-run incident Sunday morning that left a Provo man in critical condition.

Preliminary hearing for Rebecca M. Lott, 20, who was still in custody Monday evening, is expected to be set Tuesday. She was arrested Sunday morning after a woman ran over two pedestrians at 2:17 a.m. following an argument at 340 W. 920 South.The condition of Ralph M. Robbins, 27, was upgraded Monday from critical to serious, according to a Utah Valley Regional Medical Center spokesman. He suffered several injuries, including a fractured skull.

The second pedestrian, Teri Lynn Watson, 18, was treated and released.
