October has been declared Water Education Month by Gov. Norm Bangerter and will feature the fourth annual Governors Conference on Water Education.
Also planned during the month is a statewide elementary school poster contest.The conference is particularly significant because dry weather in Utah has heightened public awareness of water needs, said D. Larry Anderson, director of the Utah Division of Water Resources.
