Influenza vaccinations are available for $4 at several Salt Lake City-County Health Department immunization clinics this fall.
Those age 65 and older, and anyone with lung or heart disease, diabetes or other chronic diseases that place them at high risk of developing complications from influenza are encouraged to get the vaccine from their doctors or at one of the following immunization clinics:-City-County Health Department, 610 S. Second East; each Tuesday through Friday from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., and Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 4:30 p.m.
-Kearns Southwest Medical Center, 5255 S. 4015 West, Suite 10, Mondays through Wednesdays from 1 to 4:30 p.m., and Tuesdays through Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
-Salt Lake County Government Center, 2001 S. State, Suite S2400; Tuesdays and Fridays from 1 to 4:30 p.m.
-Copperview Multipurpose Center, 8446 S. 340 West, Mondays through Thursdays from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., and 1 to 4:30 p.m.
-Magna Senior Center, 8962 W. 27th South; Oct. 19 only from 1 p.m to 4:30 p.m.
-3900 S. Center, 3891 S. West Temple; Mondays from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 5 p.m.
