SHARE MASSACHUSETTS BUSINESS FOUNDER TO SPEAK

The Utah Technology Finance Corp. will sponsor three seminars featuring Ann Eskesen, Swampscott, Mass., founder and president of Innovation Development Institute.

The Oct. 18 seminar will be held in the Eccles Conference Center at Utah State University in Logan; the Oct. 19 meeting will be in the Tanner Building at Brigham Young University in Provo; and the Oct. 20 session will be held in the University of Utah Olpin Student Union.Eskesen, who also will speak to the MountainWest Venture Group Oct. 20 at noon in the Marriott Hotel, was a delegate to the White House Conference on Small Business in 1980 and 1986 and has testified several times to Congress on legislation affecting existing small business and business formation.

At the Oct. 20 seminar, Eskesen will speak on how businessmen can make the Small Business Innovation Research grants work for them. The luncheon speaker will be Ted Lettes, a director in the Small Business Technology/Liaison Division of the U.S. Department of Commerce's Office of Productivity, Technology and Innovation.

A response panel will consist of Cecil O. Samuelson, U. vice president for medical services; David W. Pershing, dean of the U. College of Engineering; and John Seybolt, dean of the U. College of Business.
