Israeli troops shot and killed three Palestinians and wounded 14 in the West Bank city of Nablus Friday, Arab reporters and hospital officials said.
Army officials confirmed one Palestinian was killed but said soldiers were not involved. The other two deaths were being checked, a spokeswoman said, speaking on condition of anonymity.The three deaths raised the number of Palestinians killed in the 10-month-old uprising to 287. Six Israelis have also died.
