A Salt Lake County man has been charged with vehicle homicide in the traffic death last month of a Riverton woman.
Robert S. Taul, 27, 2974 Roxborough Park, was arraigned Wednesday in 3rd Circuit Court, where a hearing was scheduled for Oct. 26 before Judge Michael Hutchings.Taul is charged with being drunk about 1 a.m. Sept. 24 when his pickup truck rolled into a median of I-15 near 122nd South. The rollover ejected Regina P. Beach, 36, Riverton, from the cab. Beach was treated at Alta View Hospital then flown to LDS Hospital, where she died in the emergency room.
In addition to the third-degree felony homicide charge, Taul is charged with misdemeanor counts of driving on a suspended license, improper lookout and failure to maintain control of his vehicle.
