KRSP (AM-1060) will make its debut as the voice of the Salt Lake Golden Eagles tonight with a special 30-minute highlight program, to be followed by the first game of the 1988-89 season.
"In Quest of another Turner Cup Title" will air at 5:50 p.m. with highlights of last year's play-by-play action, as called by Mike Barack, Eagles announcer.The season opener vs. the IHL Admirals in Milwaukee will follow at 6:20 p.m.
Saturday's road game against Indianapolis will air at 6:20 p.m. and KRSP will also broadcast, live, the remaining 80 IHL games this season.
* St. George radio station KDLX has been sold by Color Country Broadcasting Company to a Las Vegas firm, JL Communications Group.
Ray Wanty, former sales manager of KDLX, is the temporary general manager of the station until the new owners appoint a permanent one.
Jack London, Las Vegas TV and radio personality is part owner of JL Communications.
* KEMX (AM-1320) will broadcast the Seattle at Cleveland NFL game Sunday starting at 10:45 a.m.
* KSL (AM-1160) will air the Colorado State at BYU game Saturday at 12:45 p.m.
* KUER (FM-90) will be examining both sides of the tax initatives controversy on "Inside Utah '88" starting Monday at 7 p.m.
The four-part series will air each Monday for two hours and the first installment will look at economy and business.
The Oct. 17 program will examine higher education and public education.
