SHARE NO-CONTEST PLEA IN THEFT

A 37-year-old Florida resident has pleaded no-contest to charges she stole money to pay a personal loan while she worked for a bank in Salt Lake City, state officials said Friday.

Jane D. Taggart was charged with communications fraud, a third-degree felony. She reportedly diverted about $9,800 from customers at Tracy Collins Bank & Trust into her own account to pay for a loan from an Idaho bank.Taggart has repaid the money, according to a statement released by the Utah attorney general's office.

In exchange for the plea, the state dismissed other charges against Taggart.
