Almost 300 joined in singing Saturday afternoon to delight conference-goers. the Salt Lake Tongan Choir, comprised of three area Tongan woards, opened the session with a glorious rendition of "I know that My Redeemer Lives," singing the last two verses in Tongan.
The choir also thrilled listeners with arrangements of "Come, O Thou King of Kings," "How Firm a Foundation," and "We Thank Thee, O God, for a Prophet." Diring each song, President Ezra Taft Benson could be seen mouthing the words and, during the last hymn, all three members of the First Presidency turned and watched as the chorus sang.
President Thomas S. Monson conducted the session. Elder Rex D. Pinegar gave the invocation, and Elder Robert B. Harbertson pronounced the benediction.
