Utah Division of Parks and Rec-reation officials Friday warned visitors to Willard Bay Reservoir against boating and other water sports because of the extremely low water level at both the north and south marinas.
Due to the low water, park personnel are unable to launch rescue craft, so there are no rescue services at the reservoir, parks officials said. They said the south marina has only two feet of water in the channel and, although the north marina has about five feet of water, there is a sand bar in the marina that is only 1 1/2 feet underwater.
