Candidates for the Child Development Associate national credential who earn 150 percent or less of the poverty level ($8,655 for one person, $17,475 for a family of four, for example) can apply for the scholarship. The scholarship will not pay for training for the credential but for the final assessment, which normally costs about $300. For more information, call Olsen at 538-4089.
