A retired NASA project manager is the new senior vice president of Morton Thiokol's Aerospace Group.
Robert Lindstrom, former Space Shuttle Projects Office manager at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center, is responsible for strategic and space operations, advanced launch vehicle operations and support services.Ed Garrison, president of Thiokol's Aerospace Group said, "His management skills and talents are well recognized, and I am confident Bob will be a tremendous asset to our company."
The Illinois native, before joining Morton Thiokol, was president of Lindstrom Hardy & Associates, a management and engineering firm. He was shuttle projects manager from 1974 until his retirement in 1985.
