Two rival labor groups clashed late Thursday in a posh Mexico City hotel, sparking a gunfight that left two people dead and 15 wounded, authorities said. A spokesman for the Presidente Hotel said about 300 members of the Mexican Labor Confederation stormed a reception by the Revolutionary Confederation of Workers and Peasants at about 8 p.m. A melee erupted in the lobby of the hotel and shots were fired, said the spokesman, Frederico Gonzalez Baez. Authorities said two people were confirmed dead and 15 wounded.
