Three Weber County men have been charged in connection with the armed robbery of a South Weber convenience store early Wednesday, according to Capt. Bud Cox of the Davis County Sheriff's Department.

Cory F. Bernal, 18, South Ogden, and two juveniles, a 16-year-old from South Ogden and a 17-year-old from Uintah, have been charged with aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony, said Cox.The convenience store on U.S. 89 was robbed shortly after 1 a.m. Wednesday when a man armed with a .22-caliber pistol entered the store and demanded money. About $400 was taken, the sheriff's department said. No shots were fired and no one was injured.

Deputies and officers from other law enforcement agencies responded to the call, and a description of the getaway car was broadcast. Kaysville policeman Gary McFarland stopped a car similar to the one described over the radio and two men were arrested, Cox said. A third man was picked up Wednesday night, Cox said.
