LOT Polish Airlines and Boeing Commercial Airplanes, in the first such deal involving a Warsaw Pact national air carrier, said Friday LOT would take delivery of three Boeing 767 jets.

Under a "lease-purchase" agreement, valued at approximately $220 million and backed by outside lenders, LOT will receive two 767-200s and one larger 767-300, for use in its expanding international operations.All three of the advanced-technology aircraft will be powered by General Electric CF6-80C2 engines. The two 767-200s are scheduled for delivery next April and May, with the 767-300 set for delivery in June 1990.
