A West Jordan woman remains in critical and unstable condition Monday at the University Hospital following a three-car Sunday morning accident.

Eileen Miller, 41, was the driver of one vehicle. Her husband, Allan, 42, is also at the hospital in serious condition. The Millers were traveling north on 32nd West when their vehicle collided with a car, driven by Jennie Palmer, 40, Taylorsville, that was traveling west on 5620 South. The Palmer car had apparently stopped for a stop sign and then proceeded into the intersection. The impact of that accident spun the Miller vehicle into the path of southbound traffic where it was struck by a car driven by Wendell Coombs, 32, Taylorsville.

Both of the Millers were thrown from their vehicle. Eileen Miller received extensive head injuries and a broken pelvis. Allan Miller sustained head injuries.
