A Palestinian grabbed a gun from a Jewish settler in the occupied West Bank Tuesday and killed the settler and another Israeli before he was shot to death by Israeli soldiers, Israeli sources said.

The shootings occurred in the Arab village of Burin near the settlement of Berakha about the time PLO Chairman Yasser Arafat was speaking to the U.N. General Assembly in Geneva.Arab sources said the Palestinian was a shepherd identified as Hamdan Najjar, 25. They said he had been grazing his flock of sheep near the Jewish settlement. The Arab and Israeli sources spoke on condition of anonymity.
