The victim, who was driving alone, was transported to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. He was dead on arrival.

Utah County sheriff's deputies said a preliminary investigation indicates White apparently did not see the train in time to stop, and struck the side of the first engine.

Winder died from injuries suffered in a one-car rollover Monday on I-15 6 miles north of the Utah-Arizona line.

His car ran into the median at 3:53 p.m. and rolled, ejecting him from the car, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.
