Now is the time to apply for Bureau of Land Management seasonal jobs in fire control, recreation, engineering, wildlife, range management, geology and archaeology.

BLM spokeswoman Elaine Larsen said the agency has begun accepting applications for positions in those fields, with the jobs available from May to September 1989. The jobs will be available in various BLM operations throughout Utah.All applications must be filed by Jan. 15, 1989 at the BLM's Denver office. Those hired will be 18 or older at the time of the appointment and should be either experienced or trained in the position.
