Two Brigham Young University students and a Southern Utah State College player from Idaho Falls, Idaho, have been named to the 1988 TTE Academic All-America football first teams.

The university and college division teams are selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America. A player must be a starter or key reserve and carry a minimum cumulative grade average of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.Named to the university team were BYU wide receiver Chuck Cutler, Draper, who is majoring in accounting and hgas a 3.55 grade average, and BYU defensive lineman Tim Clark, Salt Lake City, an international relations student with a 3.67 grade average.

SUSC senior running back Jim Andrus was named to the college division team. The accounting student has a 3.82 grade average.
