Cottonwood High School students Jason Bunker, Brian Church, Naysla Baruque, Stephanie Breur and Navin Johnson help unload food collected by fellow students as part of this year's Hungry Hearts program. The food-collecting effort at the school has grown to the point where Cottonwood High students have organized their own arm of the program, which is sponsored by the Little Caesars Pizza chain. Little Caesars launched the Hungry Hearts program in 1986 to help combat growing hunger problems in Utah. Students this year collected more than 1,500 pounds of food, according to a counselor at Cottonwood High Seminary. About 800 students were involved.
