A 26-year-old man, apparently upset after an argument, fired a shotgun at three people through a window of a Kamas residence, then shot himself to death, authorities said.

Frank Ward of Kamas was pronounced dead at the scene by Summit County sheriff's deputies, according to a statement released Sunday by Sheriff Fred Eley. He killed himself with the shotgun shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday.Ward was outside the home when he pointed the gun through a kitchen window and fired. He then walked behind the house and shot himself, Eley said.

James Woodard, 30, of Kamas, was taken to LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, where he remained in fair condition Monday morning.
