The University of Utah has two new assistant vice presidents.

V. Randall Turpin will be responsible for the overall administration of the Campus Planning Department, plus five operating divisions of plant operations.

Leonard C. Romney, assistant vice president for administrative services, will now have line responsibility over the departments of information systems and communication, personnel administration, public safety and auxiliary services, with no change of directors for those departments.

Administrative Services Vice President Walter P. Gnemi says the reorganization has been accomplished by reassigning and combining functions and will require no additional budget.

Turpin was formerly director of plant operations. Romney has been working in a staff capacity for Gnemi since he joined the university last February.
