Utah State Prison authorities are looking for Ronald Allen Liptrap, an inmate who walked away from a road crew the day after Thanksgiving.
Liptrap was working on a road crew near Ogden for the Utah Department of Transportation when he disappeared. He was last seen wearing standard prison garb: a blue shirt and blue jeans.The inmate is described as 29 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall with brown hair and blue eyes. He has a tattoo of a cross on his left arm and a tattoo of a ribbon on his right arm.
"Anyone who knows his whereabouts should contact their local law enforcement authorities or the Department of Corrections at 265-5634," said department spokesman Juan Benavidez. "This inmate should be approached with caution."
