The Park City Ski Area, Utah's largest ski resort, will mark 25 years of operation Dec. 21.

To celebrate, officials have planned a number of events, which begin at 7 a.m. with a 25-bomb salute and end with a birthday party, complete with free cake and hot chocolate.The party begins at 4 p.m. on the ski area plaza and will include carols sung by the Parleys Park Elementary School and Park City Occasional choirs, a Christmas tree lighting and fireworks.

The 25th Gang, a group of skiers, will give away silver anniversary prizes and candy to other skiers.
