NO.1 POP HIT

A soda pop delivery man made an unexpected stop at a house near Highland High School in Salt Lake City. The truck, after hitting a utility pole, came to rest in Karen Winther's front yard, just a foot from her home, 1726 S. 17th East. "I lost my parking brake over at the corner store. The rest is history," said truck driver Darren Jensen. Power was cut off from 17th South to 21st South on the west side of the street. "I knew something went wrong," Winther said as Utah Power & Light Co. crews sawed the pole to allow the truck to back out of the yard. No one was injured.
