Rascal the dolphin evaded divers and their huge net for a second day Thursday, forcing the rescue team to suspend its operation and admit the dolphin is too quick for them.

The divers once had Rascal in their net, but the dolphin escaped when the rescuers diverted their attention to free a diver who had gotten caught in the netting."This animal is very smart," said Robert Schoelkopf, director of the Marine Mammal Stranding Center in Brigantine, N.J., and leader of the rescue effort.

"If I didn't know better I'd say the animal was trained with a net or worked with nets before. He knew where to go. He got out every time."
