Businessman Wallace Neil Gygi died of cancer at University Hospital Dec. 20, 1988. He was 57.
Mr. Gygi was a salesman and co-owner of the Orson H. Gygi Co., a restaurant supply and equipment business, for 35 years. He also owned the Frostop Drive Inn in Duchesne.He was born in Bingham, Salt Lake County, on Nov. 6, 1931, to Orson H. and Zina Vance Gygi. He graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelor's degree in marketing and served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955.
He married Aileen Lenroot in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 21, 1957.
Mr. Gygi was active in Scouting and served in several bishoprics of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Funeral will be at the South Jordan 11th Ward Chapel, 10825 S. 1235 West, at 11 a.m. Saturday. Friends may call at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 10600 S. 17th East, Sandy, from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and at the church one hour before services Saturday. Interment will be in Larkin Sunset Gardens.
