Atlanta Hawks center Chris Washburn has been released from a California drug rehabilitation facility after an 87-day stay.
Hawks President Stan Kasten said Washburn was released Thursday from ASAP center in Van Nuys, Calif.Kasten said Washburn intended to spent two weeks at his mother's home in Hickory, N.C. before returning to Atlanta. Kasten said he was not certain when Washburn would start practicing with the Hawks or when he might be activa-ted.
