Salt Lake community leader Doris Melich is joining dignitaries Jane Wyman, Victoria Principal, Alice S. Marriott, Betty Ford and others as an honorary trustee of the National Arthritis Foundation.
Before her appointment as trustee, Melich served as member-at-large to the House of delegates and has served on several national committees, including government affairs and the nominating committee.Locally, she continues to provide leadership to the foundation's Utah chapter through her role on the board of director's executive committee. She is past president of the organization.
Melich is also a charter member of the National Assistance League, Salt Lake-Utah Chapter; Utah Girl Scouts Council; Utah Opera Guild; Utah Ballet Guild; American Association of University Women and Women's Republican Club of Salt Lake.
