Jon D. Warner, Park City Olympic Hotel, has been named hotelier of the year by the Utah Hotel Motel Association.
Named roomkeeper of the year was Nancy Miyake, University Park Hotel in Salt Lake City, and Patrick Burrus, who works for the Cliff Lodge at Snowbird, has been named bellman of the year.Public relations awards went to several hotels for their outstanding programs and contributions to the community.
Valerie van der Elst of Quality Inn was honored for her involvement in the Ronald McDonald House; Snowbird received a special events award for a Little Cottonwood Canyon cleanup project; Park City Olympic Hotel received a special promotions award for its involvement in the Jeremy Ranch Showdown Classic; and the Doubletree Hotel received an employee relations award for the second consecutive year.
