Gymnast Scott Burr, a student at BYU, became a member of the 12-person U.S. National Team after placing eighth last weekend at Colorado Springs, Colo.
Burr, who gave up his college eligibility when he transferred from New Mexico to BYU last season, scored 105.7 points at the U.S. Winter National Championships. He joins three members of the U.S. Olympic team who qualified for the national team.
