Sizzling loops by Doyle Gellerman of Oakdale, Calif. and Rick Stock from Showlow, Ariz., gave them a victory Wednesday in the team roping event at the National Finals Rodeo competion.

Their winning time of six seconds paid each of them $5,740. At the halfway point, Gellerman and Stock are ranked fourth in average for their category.Farmington, Utah cowboy Lance Robinson dropped his steer in just 4.3 seconds to win the go-round in the steer wrestling event.

The NFR season ending rodeo of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association is the richest rodeo in the world, paying over $2 million to the top 15 in each of six men's events and women's barrel racing.
