CHURCH NEWS: ABOUT THE COVER

A company of weary Mormon pioneers arrived at what is now Mesa, Ariz., on Feb. 14, 1878. Almost exactly 110 years later - on Feb. 13, 1988 - a monument in their honor was unveiled in a city park.
