There are literally dozens of significant ideas about the Savior that are either unique or clarified in the Book of Mormon, that the Bible does not make clear or does not mention at all.
Nephi had a vision of the last days in which he was shown that there are "many plain and precious things" taken away from the Bible. (1 Ne. 13:28.)The quest to find these lost biblical concepts has increased my conviction that the Book of Mormon is not only Another Testament of Jesus Christ, but it also expands our understanding of the Savior.
"This is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou has sent." (John 17:3.)
The Book of Mormon confirms the knowledge we learn about Christ in the Bible and also amplifies and adds to this understanding.
I continually find additional precepts that I had not previously noticed and there are undoubtedly other important ideas concerning Christ I have overlooked. Today my list has grown to 41 scriptural examples that give further insight into Christ and His teaching.
