Three friends of young women in the Fullerton, Calif., 3rd Ward, joined the Church within a year, said Annette Penrod, Young Women president. One of the young ladies, who had investigated several religions, knew so much about the Church that others thought she was a member. She asked in class to be baptized. The other two friends attended meetings with the Young Women and asked for baptism within a month of each other, said Sister Penrod.
