Palestine Liberation Organization chief Yasser Arafat Tuesday ended his two-day visit to Syria, where he held reconciliation talks with President Hafez Assad in a bid to end five years of bitterness because of differences over the Arab-Israeli conflict. "The talks were very useful and warm. The results are positive," Arafat said about his three-hour meeting Monday with Assad. Arafat made the comment Tuesday after a 75-minute meeting with Syrian Vice President Abdel Halim Khaddam.
