OREGON STATE CAGE COACH WILL RETIRE

Ralph Miller, the nation's winningest active major college basketball coach, said Tuesday that next season will be his last at Oregon State.

Miller, 69, said he delayed announcing his decision to retire because his post-season schedule was so busy and he was awaiting the results from a physical exam. He suffers from Meniere's syndrome, an inner ear problem.
